Technology issues are lower ahead of the opening bell, with International Business Machines (IBM) buying out Sterling Commerce from AT&T (T) for .4 billion in cash. Yahoo (YHOO) and Nokia (NOK) have agreed to work together to bolster their mobile Internet offerings to compete head-on with Apple (AAPL) and Google (GOOG). Yahoo will host Nokia's Ovi e-mail network on phones while Nokia will provide maps and navigation for Yahoo from the latter half of this year.
